Community Development

The Commission meets regularly with board members and the member communities to assist the cities, towns and counties to listen to community needs and determine eligibility for various programs.

The staff develops proposals and applications for funding to bring the community needs to fruition. The responsibility of the Commission is to coordinate and develop the project. Projects can include infrastructure improvements, historic preservation, downtown improvements, parks, and other enhancements.
